WHO IS THERAPY FOR?
-
If you have a troubled child, a troubled self, troubled family dynamics, a troubled marriage and think that there’s no help for your predicament ,then therapy is for you!
A marriage and family therapist is trained on dealing with all of these issues and approach them from a systemic view rather than a linear view. You say, what does that mean?
The systemic perspective holds the assumptions that a) problems are caused and maintained in the system through unhelpful relational dynamics and ongoing interactions, and b) solutions are created and maintained by individuals within the system changing their communication and interactions with, and responses to other members of the system.
When your work is founded in circular causality, it reveals options for interpretation, intervention, and hope, for you the individual, the child, the couple and the family. -
We strive to make our care accessible and affordable to everyone. We have rates for all our offereings and will be provided to you once you agree to move forward with our services.
-
CASH
Our practice is self-pay only. We accept check, Cash App, ACH and preferred method online payment.
SUPER-BILL
We are able to provide you with a super bill that you can provide to your insurance provider for reimbursement based on their policy and rates.
HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT -HSA

-
Will our conversations remain confidential?

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a treatment approach that helps the client recognize negative or unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. Here we identify how your emotions and thoughts affect your actions. Once we notice these patterns, the client can begin to change their behaviors and develop new coping strategies.
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an approach to psychotherapy that identifies and addresses multiple sub-personalities or families within each client's mental system. These wounded parts are often in conflict with each other and with one’s core Self, which is naturally confident, compassionate and whole. IFS focuses on healing the wounded parts, creating harmony among the sub-personalities and the Self.
-
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a structured program of psychotherapy with a strong educational component designed to provide skills for managing intense emotions and negotiating social relationships.
DBT acknowledges the need for change in a context of acceptance of situations and recognizes the constant flux of feelings—many of them contradictory—without having to get caught up in them.
-
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a short-term goal-focused evidence-based therapeutic approach, which incorporates positive psychology principles and practices, and which helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems. In the most basic sense, SFBT is a hope friendly, positive emotion eliciting, future-oriented vehicle for formulating, motivating, achieving, and sustaining desired behavioral change.
